Born, lives and works in New York. Work includes painting, drawing, printmaking, photography, ceramics, sculpture, hand bookbinding and book restoration. Catherine has a B.A. in the History of Art from Cornell University. Her work has been selected for numerous juried shows, and she has been showing her work in the NYC area since 1996.
"Using color, form and line, I explore an ever-evolving language of abstraction. Overlapping layers of color reveal and conceal, creating movement and depth. Forms are deconstructed and reconstructed. Brushstrokes and lines energize and intersect the space, orchestrating a painterly rhythm and flow of expression.” |
