A Mexican-born visual artist lives and works in New York. In 2008 Diego was introduced to the art world through an apprenticeship at the studio of Mexican artist Guillermo Canseco in Monterrey, NL. Mexico.
Diego’s rolodex of work includes painting, drawing, sculpture, installation and performance. Regardless of the medium, all the artwork has the same common goal in mind – to explore the inner self and the intricacies particular to a life of migration, from a personal and a social perspective. |
